26 January 2015 the national broadcaster of Denmark realeses the 10 songs for the national selection in Denmark, just two weeks before the show. The same day the Danish national broadcaster, Danmarks Radio (DR), will publish a CD with the 10 contestants.
In the past years DR has only published a short 30-second sample of the 10 songs for Dansk Melodi Grand Prix. And there's a reason that DR this year publish the songs in full length before the show: "We are in it to win", as Jan Lagermand Lundme from DR says.
This years Danish selection will take place on 7 February live from Gigantium in Aalborg.
Since its debut in 1957, Denmark has won the contest 3 times:
• 1963: Dansevise
• 2000: Fly On The Wings Of Love
• 2013: Only Teardrops
Denmark has been participating in Eurovision Song Contest 43 times. Worst result was in 2002 (last). Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in Eurovision in 2004, Denmark has qualified for the Grand Final 9 times.
