37 countries will take part in Eurovision 2024

The 37 participating countries at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden have just been confirmed by the EBU

The European Broadcasting Union, the EBU, has just announced the 37 countries which will compete at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö.

The EBU Member Broadcasters, on behalf of their countries, had until mid-October 2023 to formally submit their applications to take part in Eurovision 2024.

Romania is the only country from Eurovision 2023 that won't participate in Eurovision 2024.

Who's in which Semi-final?

Sweden and the Big-5 countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom) are pre-qualified for the Grand Final. The other countries will be allocated to one of two Semi-finals. The allocation draw will be made in January 2024.

10 countries from each of the two Semi-finals will advance to the Grand Final, which will feature a total of 26 countries: 10 from Semi-final 1, 10 from Semi-final 2, Sweden, and the Big-5.
