Croatia: Listen to the 24 songs for Dora 2024

The 24 songs that will compete for the chance to represent Croatia at Eurovision 2024 have been released. Listen to the songs and vote in our poll: Who should win Dora 2024?

After multiple years of non-qualifications for the Eurovision Final, Croatia's Let 3 broke the curse last year with "Mama ŠČ!" that not only qualified for the Final, but finished 13th overall giving the country its best result since 2017.

The country's Eurovision spirit is back and the preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 are at full speed.

The songs for Dora 2024 premiered on 4 January 2024 on the radio show Svijet diskografije on HR 2, and they have now officially been released on streaming platforms.

Dora 2024 will have three shows in just four days:

  • 22 February: Semi-final 1
  • 23 February: Semi-final 2
  • 25 February: Final

12 songs will compete in each of the two Semi-finals. The best eight from each Semi-final will qualify for the final on 25 February 2024. All shows will be held at HRT Studios in Zagreb.

Croatia in Eurovision

Croatia has participated in Eurovision Song Contest 28 times since their debut in 1993. The first victory for Croatia in Eurovision is yet to come. The best result is two 4th place finishes; in 1996 (Maja Blagdan - "Sveta Ljubav") and 1999 (Doris Dragovic - "Marija Magdalena").

Croatia 1996: Maja Blagdan - "Sveta Ljubav"

Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Croatia has qualified for the Grand Final 8 out of 17 times. They withdrew from Eurovision 2014 and 2015 due to financial limitations and poor results in the contest.
