The 28 artists competing at Festivali i Këngës #64 have been revealed by the Albanian broadcaster. One of them will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026

Egzon Pireci withdraws from Festivali i Këngës 64

Egzon Pireci announces that his song "Thirrëm" has been withdrawn from the competition for personal reasons. He clarifies that the decision is unrelated to the festival’s organization or staff and expresses gratitude for their understanding and support. He adds that the song is very special to him and that a music video will be released soon.

The group Lynx replaces Egzon Pireci in Festivali i Këngës 64

After Egzon Pireci's withdrawal from Festivali i Këngës 64, Albanian broadcaster RTSH has announced that the group Lynx will compete with the song "Nuk kthehem pas".

Albanian broadcaster RTSH has just revealed the lineup for Festivali i Këngës #64.

120 songs have been submitted for the next Festivali i Këngës in Albania. 28 acts have been selected by Albanian national broadcaster RTSH to compete in the four-day festival in December. One of them will represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

Among the familiar artists are Fifi & Tiri Gjoci, Vedat Ademi, Alis, Rezarta Smaja, Kamela Islamaj, Erik Lloshi, and Evi Reçi.

The 28 songs are expected to be released in November.

Festivali i Këngës #64

Festivali i Këngës #64 will feature four live shows:

  • Semi-final 1: 17 December 2025
  • Semi-final 2: 18 December 2025
  • Nostalgia night: 19 December 2025
  • Final: 20 December 2025

The winner will be determined by 50% jury, 25% televoting, and 25% online voting.

Albania in Eurovision

Since their debut in 2004, Albania has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest every year. Their best result is a 5th place finish in 2012, when Rona Nishliu sang "Suus."
