Antigoni

Antigoni Buxton is a British-Cypriot singer-songwriter from North London. She's the daughter of Greek-Cypriot television presenter and chef Tonia Buxton, and grew up surrounded by both British and Cypriot culture.

She began writing songs as a teenager and later studied at the BRIT School in London, which is known for producing artists such as Adele and Amy Winehouse. In her early twenties, she signed with Island Records and started developing her own sound — a mix of pop and R&B with Mediterranean influences and Greek instrumentation.

Antigoni has released several singles including “Long Way Home,” “Never Gonna Love,” and “Hit List.” Her music often features bilingual lyrics and reflects her identity as both British and Cypriot.

She became known to a wider audience in 2022 when she appeared on the British reality show Love Island, which increased her visibility across the UK and Cyprus. Despite her TV exposure, she continues to focus on her music career.
