Grand Prix 1956 Eurovision - Schlager and Chansons

Description from the TV guide in 1956:

New melodies sung by: Lys Assia, Eva Busch, Angele Durand, Margot Eskens, Friedel Hensch and the Cyprys, Margot Hielscher, Bibi Johns, Rolf Baro, Walter Andreas Schwarz, Hans Arno Simon, Gerhard Wendland.

At the same time, this program sees and has a jury on the screen that has to choose the two best compositions from the presented ones.

The award-winning works will compete with the chansons from other European countries for the 'Grand Prix of Eurovision' on May 24th in Lugano. Performing: Adalbert Luczkowski and his soloists with the dance and entertainment orchestra from Westdeutscher Rundfunk.
