Sanremo 1961:

"A.A.A. adorabile cercasi"
A.A.A. adorabile cercasi
Mille, tremila
Ho fatto diecimila esperimenti
Ho dato centomila appuntamenti
Ma tutte quante m'hanno detto "No"
Niente! Mai niente
Ho proprio una sfortuna eccezionale
Ma ora ho una trovata originale
L'annuncio sul giornale pressappoco così:
A.A.A.A.A. adorabile cercasi
A.A.A.A.A. di carattere docile
Dare referenze fermo posta
Richiedesi bello
Di media statura
Che sappia baciar
Un fantastico
A.A.A.A.A. adorabile cercasi
A.A.A.A.A. da sposare anche subito
Basta che mi ami
E già fin d'ora lo so
Che A.A.A.A.A. adorarlo saprò
Venne domani
Trovai alla mattina tra la posta
La lettera con dentro la risposta
Che mi diceva chiaramente "Sì"
Lessi felice
Scriveva con viril calligrafia
"Io vento a dire a lei con questa mia"
E l'autobiografia pressappoco così:
A.A.A.A.A. adorabile offresi
A.A.A.A.A. di carattere docile
Bello, disinvolto, intelligente
Di alta statura con lieve difetto
Però so baciar
Un fantastico
A.A.A.A.A. adorabile offresi
A.A.A.A.A. da sposare anche subito
Basta che mi ami
E già fin d'ora lo so
Che A.A.A.A.A. adorarlo saprò
Ci trovammo là
A.A.A.A.A. all'ingresso d'un cinema
Lui col fiore qui, io col libro di favole
Timidi per mano
Ce ne andammo così
Lontano, inѕieme
Cercando l'аmor
Wanted: A.A.A. adorable
One thousand, three thousand
I've done ten thousand experiments
I've had a hundred thousand dates
But all of them told me "No"
Nothing! Nothing ever works out
I have truly exceptional bad luck
But now I've had a novel idea
The newspaper ad will go something like this:
Wanted: A.A.A.A.A. adorable
A.A.A.A.A. with a gentle nature
Send references to the post office box
Must be handsome
Of medium height
Must know how to kiss
Oh, fantastic
Wanted: A.A.A.A.A. adorable
A.A.A.A.A. to get married right away
As long as he loves me
And I already know
That I'll know how to adore A.A.A.A.A
The next day came
Amongst the morning mail, I found
The letter with the reply inside
That clearly told me "Yes"
I read it happily
He wrote with manly handwriting
"I'm writing to tell you in this letter"
And his autobiography went something like this:
Available: A.A.A.A.A. adorable
A.A.A.A.A. with a gentle nature
Handsome, easy-going, intelligent
Tall, with a slight flaw
But I know how to kiss
Oh, fantastic
Available: A.A.A.A.A. adorable
A.A.A.A.A. to get married right away
As long as you love me
And I already know
That I'll know how to adore A.A.A.A.A
We found ourselves there
A.A.A.A.A. at the entrance to a cinema
Him with a flower here, me with a book of fairy tales
Shyly holding handѕ
We walked away like that
Far away together
Seаrching for love
