Hideaway

I want to be relatable
But sometimes I'm unable
It doesn't mean there is no other way
Some days I am capable
To keep it conversational
Bursting at the seams with what I wanna say

Shame is my mistake
Holding on the ropes of a little faith
It's a risk I must take

I don't wanna feel like a hideaway

But I'm proud of who I am

My simple voice I want it heard
Like a singing little hummingbird
I'd paint a picture of those perfect words
