Russia: Evrovidenie 2005 – Vybirayet Rossiya
The Russian entry for Eurovision 2005 was chosen through a national selection consisting of four televised shows.
All four shows were recorded twice. The first recording was broadcast live and aired as a recording in other regions two hours later. There was a separate live broadcast for Moscow, which was aired as a recording in the eastern regions at a later time.
Audiences were able to vote by telephone and SMS, with the final results revealed during the broadcast aimed at western regions of Russia.
