Beovizija 2009 – Semi-final

Date7 March 2009
LocationSava Centar
CityBelgrade
HostJovana Janković
Voting50% jury
50% televoting
Due to an error in the televoting system, the qualifiers were announced based on the amount of jury scores and the televotes that were received at the 5 minute mark of the televoting window.

When the full televoting results were used to calculate the qualifiers, it became apparent that Ivana Selakov with "Moje odbrane" and Ana Nikolić with "Bili smo najlepši" were supposed to qualify over Sonja Bakić with "Ništa novo" and Etar with "Sanjaj me".

After the mistake was spotted, the Serbian broadcaster RTS issued an apology and offered both damaged artists a spot in the final. While Ivana Selakov accepted the offer, Ana Nikolić rejected it, withdrew from the contest and sued RTS for reparations, a lawsuit which she won in 2014.
