Shkodra Elektronike
Formed in 2019, Shkodra Elektronike is a music project consisting of producer-songwriter Kolë Laca and singer-songwriter Beatriçe Gjergji. Both members are Albanian immigrants who grew up in Italy away from their hometown of Shkodër.
The mission with their music is to feel connected to home without returning while reinterpreting the traditional music found in Shkodër. They do it by mixing the traditional elements in a comtemporary electronic key, leading to their music to be described as "Post immigrant pop".
In 2020, they released their first song 'Ku E Gjeta Vedin'. While this is their first time competing in Festivali i Këngës, the duo composed 'E Jemja Nuse' for Rezarta Smaja in the 60th edition of FiK, ending in 3rd place.
