Latvia: Songs for Supernova 2024 released

Both the artists and the songs competing in Latvia's national selection show for Eurovision 2024 have just been revealed. Listen to the songs and vote in our poll: Who should win Supernova 2024?

It's a big release day for the Eurovision community. Not only will Luxembourg have the songs competing in its national selection show released throughout the day, but so will Latvia. In fact, those are already here!

Despite failing to qualify six years in a row, LTV is not giving up and is ready to host another season of Supernova – Latvia's national selection show for Eurovision. Overall, 108 entries were received by the broadcaster, shortlisted to 15 and, at last, released on LTV 1's morning show Rīta Panorāma.

Along with the songs, LTV has confirmed that Supernova 2024 will take place on 3 and 10 February 2024. The 15 acts will perform on 3 February, and from those 10 will make it to the Final on 10 February.

Latvia in Eurovision

Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, and since then, the country has participated every year (23 times). Their best result was in 2002, when Latvia won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Wanna" by Marie N.

Latvia 2015: Aminata Savadogo - "Love Injected"

In the last 14 contests, Latvia finished last in their Semi-finals five times, and has only managed to qualify for the Grand Final two times.
