Mamagama

Mamagama is a band formed in 2021, made up of Asaf on vocals, Huss on guitar, and Arif on drums.

Mamagama is one of the most energetic and original bands on Azerbaijan's music scene. The band has wowed audiences at music festivals and contests, including an award-winning performance at Albania's Kënga Magjike Music Festival in 2022 for their song "Dreamer."

The band name "Mamagama" is formed by:

  • Mama – the ultimate creator, the source of life, the force that nurtures the world when necessary.
  • Gama – the full spectrum of sound, the highest frequencies, the musical scales that stretch across time and space.

Asaf from Mamagama says:

– It’s an honor for me to be representing Azerbaijan on such a big stage with our culture. I deeply love the land where I was born, and this is a chance to share its beauty and spirit with all of Europe.

– Our song, which will be revealed very soon, is a true representation of our country’s essence. We are incredibly excited and believe that our entry will leave a lasting impact.
