Nika Kocharov and the Young Georgian Lolitaz was internally selected to represent Georgia at Eurovision 2016.
The song that the band performed at Eurovision was selected through a national final. From more than 100 submitted songs a jury selected five songs for the competition.
The five songs were presented and the public could vote from 5 to 15 February 2016 via internet and telephone/SMS. The voting was combined with the votes from a four-member professional jury.
