Azerbaijan: TuralTuranX release "Tell Me More" for Eurovision 2023

The twins TuralTuranX will represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with "Tell Me More." Their song has just been released

The twins Tural and Turan Bağmanov, or just TuralTuranX, were internally selected by Azerbaijani broadcaster ITV to compete at Eurovision 2023.

Today, TuralTuranX have released the song they'll perform on the Eurovision stage in Liverpool this May: "Tell Me More."

TuralTuranX

TuralTuranX is made up of Azerbaijani twin brothers Tural and Turan Bamanov from Zaqatala.

They've been performing and playing synthesizer and guitar since elementary school. They've performed as street musicians as well as in the band "TheRedJungle."

They were selected internally by Azeri broadcaster ITV among a shortlist of five artists, including Emrah Musayev & Humay Aslanova, Leyla İzzətova, Mamagama, and Azer Nesibov.

Tell Me More was written by Tural and Turan Bağmanov themselves.

Azerbaijan has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 14 times since its debut in 2008. They have had great success in Eurovision, with five top-5 results out of 14! They won the competition in 2011 (Ell/Nikki - "Running Scared").

Their worst result was in 2018, when Azerbaijan didn't manage to qualify for the Grand Final for the first time. They have qualified for the Grand Final 13 out of 14 times.
