Latvia: 10 acts to the Supernova 2025 Final

The lineup for Latvia's Supernova 2025 Final has been made official after 10 acts from tonight's show got the votes to move on. The Final will take place 8 February when we'll find out who will represent Latvia at Eurovision 2025

Tonight the 19 acts in Latvia's Supernova 2025 took the stage for the Semi-final, in hopes of receiving enough votes to advance to the Final.

Once all the votes were counted, the 10 advancing to the Final were revealed. Voting to determine the finalists was split 50/50 between a jury and the public.

All 10 qualifiers will perform their songs again for the Supernova 2025 Final on 8 February 2025.

Supernova 2025

Supernova 2025 is the national selection process Latvia is using to select their Eurovision 2025 entry. Supernova 2025 will consist of two shows:

  • Semi-final: 1 February 2025
  • Final: 8 February 2025

The Semi-final saw 19 acts perform their songs, with 10 advancing to the Final. Those 10 in the Final will perform their songs again in hopes of securing enough votes to take home the victory.

Both shows take place at Riga Film Studio in Riga, and are hosted by Ketija Šēnberga and Lauris Reiniks.

Latvia in Eurovision

Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, and since then, the country has participated every year (24 times). Their best result was in 2002, when Latvia won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Wanna" by Marie N.

In the last 15 contests, Latvia finished last in their Semi-finals five times, and has only managed to qualify for the Grand Final three times.
