Latvia: Supernova 2026 lineup announced

As the Eurovision 2026 season is starting up, Latvian broadcaster LTV has revealed the 24 artists competing in Supernova 2026

After receiving their best result since 2015, Latvia is looking to keep the momentum going into the 2026 season.

Latvian broadcaster LTV revealed they received 124 submissions, which is 28 more than the previous year. A jury listened to each submission, and have officially announced the 24 artists taking the Supernova 2026 stage.

LTV unveiled the list of competing artists during LTV1's morning show Rīta Panorāma.

Some of the songs have already been released by the artists themselves. The remaining songs will be released on 4 December. Until then, you can listen to 15-seconds snippets of all 24 songs here:

Supernova 2026

Supernova 2026 is Latvia's national selection process to determine their Eurovision 2026 representative. Supernova 2026 will consist of three shows:

  • Semi-final 1: 31 January
  • Semi-final 2: 7 February
  • Final: 14 February

The winner of the Final on 14 February will represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna next May.

Latvia 2022: Citi Zēni - "Eat Your Salad"

Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, and since then the country has participated every year (25 times). Their best result was in 2002, when Latvia won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Wanna" by Marie N.

In the last 16 contests Latvia finished last in their Semi-finals five times, and has only managed to qualify for the Grand Final four times.
