Latvia: Atvara wins Supernova 2026 with "Ēnā"
Latvia has selected their representative for Eurovision 2026! After the ten final acts took to the Supernova 2026 stage tonight, one would receive enough votes for the win: it is Atvara with "Ēnā"
Ten acts performed their songs tonight for Latvia's Supernova 2026 Final. One of them ended the night with the victory, and will travel to Vienna this May to represent Latvia at Eurovision 2026.
Voting to determine the winner was split between the jury and public. Once the votes were in, it was clear: Atvara wins Supernova 2026 with "Ēnā".
"Ēnā" was written by Jānis Jačmenkins and Liene Atvara.
Supernova 2026 – Final
Atvara will fly Latvia's flag at Eurovision 2026 during Semi Final 2 and looks to extend the two year qualification streak for the country.

Atvara is an up and coming singer-songwriter from Latvia who has gained recognition from going viral on TikTok. Her single "Pie manis tveries" has been viewed over 2 million times, and was even featured in the TV series "Nelūgtie viesi".
With this, her momentum keeps growing, with her debut album "Vol. 1. Vai dzirdi, kā brūces dzīst" releasing while having sold out 22 shows in Latvia.
Supernova 2026
Supernova 2026 was Latvia's national selection process to determine their Eurovision 2026 representative. Supernova 2026 consisted of three shows:
- Semi-final 1: 31 January - 12 acts performed, five advanced to the Final.
- Semi-final 2: 7 February - the last 12 acts perform, five more advance to the Final.
- Final: 14 February
10 acts took the stage at the Final on 14 February. The winner will represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna this May.
Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest
Latvia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2000, and since then, the country has participated every year (25 times). Their best result was in 2002, when Latvia won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "I Wanna" by Marie N.
In the last 16 contests, Latvia finished last in their Semi-finals five times, and has only managed to qualify for the Grand Final four times.
