Mahmood collaborates with Maikel Delacalle and Isac Elliot
Italian 2019 Eurovision Song Contest representative Mahmood, has released two new versions of Soldi, just hours before his first technical rehearsal in Tel Aviv. Mahmood joined forces with Spanish rapper Maikel Delacalle and created a blended Italian / Spanish version of "Soldi". He also collaborated with Finnish Pop singer Isac Elliot for an English / Italian version.
The song is an autobiography about Mahmood's family. The lyrics explain how Mahmood's relationship with his father was strained and broken, when he left his family while he was just a child. The lyrics continue to suggest that Money was the main priority of Mahmood's father.
Earlier this week, Italian Media reported that Mahmood was very ill with fever and a throat infection. Despite this mishap, Mahmood is expected to step on the Tal Aviv stage today afternoon give a rendition of "Soldi" during the first rehearsal.
