Malta: Ira Losco in collaboration with Flora Tandi

On the 16th July, Flora Tandi Production team has released the official music video of her new summer single What If.

The two artists Ira Losco (Malta 2002 and 2016) and Flora Tandi (Hungary) teamed up for a duet together.

The music video was filmed in Malta.

The song is written by Krisztina Kotsy. The composer of the song is Gábor Molnár who was one of the backing vocalist with Freddie in Eurovision 2016 for Hungary with his song Pioneer.

Malta in Eurovision Song Contest

Malta debuted in Eurovision back in 1971 and has been in the contest 31 times since - without a victory. Best result is two runner-up's in 2002 (Ira Losco - "7th Wonder") and 2005 (Chiara - "Angel"). The worst result is three last places in 1971, 1972 and 2006.

Since the introduction of Semi-finals in 2004 Malta qualified for the Grand Final 8 out of 15 times.
