Italy: Sanremo 2026
Italy will participate in Eurovision 2026. As usual, the country will select its entry through the Sanremo Music Festival. The winner of Sanremo 2026 will be offered the opportunity to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. If the winner declines, broadcaster RAI will appoint another participant from the festival to take part in Eurovision 2026.

- Cover night: Each of the artists will perform a cover of another song
- The artists can perform the song solo or together with any other singer (also with any participating competitor)
- The winner of the cover night will be announced (only the cover song and not the individual participant will win, as this year's cover night does not affect the final outcome of the Sanremo festival)
