Ukraine: Vidbir 2022

Ukraine Vidbir 2022

Alina Pash won Vidbir 2022 but didn’t represent Ukraine at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 after accusations that she visited Crimea illegally in 2015. The Ukrainian peninsula Crimea was forcefully and illegally occupied and annexed by Russia in 2014.

Instead, the Ukrainian broadcaster invited the Vidbir runner-up Kalush Orchestra to represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2022.
