The Australian artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 has just been revealed: Delta Goodrem.
Delta Goodrem was internally selected by Australian broadcaster SBS.

Delta Goodrem says:

Delta Goodrem
Delta Lea Goodrem AM, 41, is an Australian singer-songwriter, musician, actress and television personality from Sydney.
She signed a recording contract with Sony Music at age 15 and released her debut studio album "Innocent Eyes" in 2003, which topped the Australian charts for 29 non-consecutive weeks and is one of the highest-selling Australian albums of all time.
Her biggest international breakthrough came with the single Lost Without You, which reached number one in Australia and peaked inside the top ten in the United Kingdom, giving her major international exposure.
Goodrem’s early career included acting on the Australian soap opera Neighbours as Nina Tucker, which helped launch her music career. Her body of work spans multiple number-one albums and singles in Australia, and she has sold millions of albums worldwide.
In addition to her music career, she has served as a coach on The Voice Australia and worked in television and theatre. Goodrem has received numerous awards, including ARIA Music Awards and World Music Awards, and was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). She married musician Matthew Copley in June 2025.
Australia in the Eurovision Song Contest
Australia has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 10 times.
At Eurovision 2015, Australia was represented by Guy Sebastian and finished 5th in the Grand Final with the song Tonight Again. Australia was granted a wild card, with the right to vote in both Semi-finals, and with a secured place in the Grand Final.
At the Eurovision Song Contest 2016, Dami Im represented Australia and finished 2nd with the song "Sound of Silence." It's Australia's best result so far.
Australia has qualified for the Grand Final 6 out of 9 times.
