Lithuania: Lineup for Eurovizija.LT 2026 revealed
40 artists will compete in Lithuania’s Eurovizija.LT 2026. One of them will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna
Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has revealed the full lineup and songs for Eurovizija.LT 2026, the country’s national selection competition for the Eurovision Song Contest. A total of 40 entries will compete for the right to follow Katarsis, who won Eurovizija.LT 2025 with the song “Tavo akys,” and went on to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2025 in Basel.
According to LRT, this year’s songs were carefully evaluated by a special working group set up by the broadcaster. From all the submissions received, only the strongest entries were selected for the television shows and for a chance to reach the Eurovision stage.
LRT chief producer Audrius Giržadas highlights the variety and ambition of the new lineup for Eurovizija.LT 2026.
– Every year we feel the interest from songwriters and performers – the national selection becomes a space where very different genres and generations meet. Selecting the songs was not easy: we wanted the lineup to reflect both well-known, audience-favorite names, and new voices that can surprise all of Europe, says LRT chief producer Audrius Giržadas.

All 40 songs will compete in the Semi-finals of Eurovizija.LT. The results will be decided by a combination of jury voting and audience voting, which together will determine which entries advance to the Eurovizija.LT 2026 Final.
The Eurovizija.LT 2026 Grand Final will take place on 27 February 2026 at Twinsbet Arena in Vilnius. The show will be available both through LRT’s platforms and in front of a live audience in the arena. The winner will go on to represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.
Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest
Lithuania has taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest 25 times since their debut in 1994.
In their debut year, 1994, Lithuania finished last. Their best result is from 2006, when LT United performed the iconic song "We Are The Winners (of Eurovision)." Although they didn't win, they finished 6th.
Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Lithuania has been in Eurovision every year, and qualified for the Grand Final 14 out of 21 times.
With Estonia's victory in 2001 (Everybody) and Latvia's victory in 2002 (I Wanna), Lithuania is the only Baltic country that hasn't won the Eurovision Song Contest.
