Grup Sekstet's song "İnsanız Biz" made it to the final, but was later disqualified by the TRT Board of Directors with 4 votes against 6 because of the words "We are the most advanced, smartest, most civilized animal". Later objections were made and the song went to the final with the decision of the Council of State.
