Austria: Wer singt für Österreich? – Lineup announced

The 12 artists competing at "Wer singt für Österreich?" have been revealed by the Austrian broadcaster. One of them will represent Austria on home soil at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna

Austrian broadcaster ORF has just revealed the lineup for "Wer singt für Österreich?"

More than 500 songs were submitted for "Wer singt für Österreich?" And now, 12 acts have been selected by Austrian national broadcaster ORF to compete on the selection show in February. One of them will represent Austria on home soil at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna.

Wer singt für Österreich?

Wer singt für Österreich? takes place on Friday 20 February 2026, and will be hosted by Alice Tumler and Cesár Sampson.

ORF program manager Stefanie Groiss-Horowitz says:

– Austria once again proves its talent and its high importance as a country of music. The candidates for the final selection are exactly that: brave, colorful and full of diversity. After the intensive pre-selection by the jury and editorial staff, it is now in the hands of our audience who represents Austria.

– Every voice counts and perhaps the most important journey of their musical life begins for the winners.

Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest

Austria has been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest 57 times since its debut in 1957.
