Croatia's Guilty Pleasure: Mia Dimšić for Eurovision 2022

Mia Dimšić wins Dora 2022 and will represent Croatia at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song "Guilty Pleasure"

Another big night is wrapping up with the selection of more songs for Eurovision 2022. This time we talk about Croatia's national selection, Dora 2022.

Tonight's show was hosted by former Eurovision representative Franka Batelić (Croatia 2018), TV host Duško Ćurlić and actress Elizabeta Brodić. The event was aired live from Marino Cvetković Sports Hall in Opatija.

Overall, 14 songs were performed and, at the end, the jury and the public at home decided on who should travel do Turin and represent Croatia at Eurovision. They chose Mia Dimšić with the song "Guilty Pleasure".

During tonight's broadcast, Albina (Croatia 2021) performed her Eurovision hit "Tick-Tock".

Croatia in Eurovision Song Contest

Croatia has participated in Eurovision Song Contest 26 times since its debut in 1993. The first victory for Croatia in Eurovision is yet to come. The best result is two 4th places in 1996 (Maja Blagdan - "Sveta Ljubav") and 1999 (Doris Dragovic - "Marija Magdalena").

Since the introduction of Semi-finals in 2004 Croatia qualified for the Grand Final 7 out of 15 times. They withdrew from Eurovision 2014 and 2015 due to financial limitations and poor results in the contest.
