Georgia: Bzikebi releases "On Replay" for Eurovision 2026
Back in January, it was announced that Bzikebi would be representing Georgia at Eurovision 2026 this May. After weeks of waiting, we now know the group will be taking "On Replay" with them to Vienna
Georgian broadcaster GBP revealed in January that Bzikebi – Junior Eurovision 2008 winners with "Bzz.." – would be representing the country at Eurovision 2026.
The group posted numerous videos to social media teasing their entry without revealing anything, keeping fans awaiting the very moment the song would release. Today, the song is officially out, and we now know that Bzikebi will be singing "On Replay" in Vienna this May.
"On Replay" was written by George Kukhianidze.
Bzikebi
Bzikebi is a Georgian vocal trio consisting of Giorgi Shiolashvili, Mariam Tatulashvili, and Mariam Kikuashvili.
They won Junior Eurovision for Georgia in 2008 with the bee-themed song "Bzz..," performed in a made-up language. After their win, they released the album Zabuzei.
In 2025, Bzikebi returned to the Eurovision spotlight when they reunited as an interval act at Junior Eurovision 2025 in Tbilisi, performing the song "We Don’t Sleep."
Georgia in the Eurovision Song Contest
Georgia has participated in Eurovision 17 times since their debut in 2007, with the best result in 2010 and 2011 (9th place), and the worst results in 2014, 2018 and 2022 (came in last in their Semi-finals).
The only year Georgia didn't participate was in 2009. They decided to send the song "We Don't Wanna Put In" to Moscow 2009, but because of a controversy surrounding the song's lyrics, the EBU banned the song from participating unless the lyrics were changed. The Georgian broadcaster refused to change the lyrics, and withdrew from the contest.
Georgia has managed to qualify for the Grand Final 8 out of 17 times.
