Armenia 2024: Ladaniva

Armenia: Ladaniva to Eurovision 2024

After months of speculation, the word is now out: Ladaniva will be waving Armenia's flag at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö this May

Armenia is one of the last countries to announce their act and song for Eurovision 2024. Now that the wait is over, we can add Ladaniva to the list of acts who we'll see flying to Malmö to join this year's class of Eurovision representatives hoping to take home the trophy.

Today, Armenian broadcaster AMPTV unveiled that they've internally selected Ladaniva to head to Eurovision 2024. The song will be released at a later date.

Ladaniva - "Shakar" (not their Eurovision song)

Ladaniva is looking to follow the success of Brunette and Rosa Linn and qualify for the Grand Final on 11 May. Ladaniva will take part in the second Semi-final on 9 May.

The duo Ladaniva features the Armenian vocalist Jaklin Baghdasaryan and French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas.

Their music is known for mixing Armenian folk with global musical influences: jazz, reggae, latin music, African music and so much more. The name was inspired by an off-road retro car brand symbolizing the band's adventurous spirit and their journey through different cultures.
