EMA Freš: Slovenia's pre-selection for Eurovision 2022
The 24 artists competing at Slovenia's pre-selection "EMA Freš 2022" have been announced. The online tournament will begin on 29 November and four acts will get a bigger chance of representing Slovenia at Eurovision 2022
The Slovenian public broadcaster RTVSLO has announced the comeback of its pre-selection for Eurovision, called "EMA Freš".
After having its first ever edition taking place in 2020, the producers of EMA (Slovenia's main national selection) want to still give a chance to breaking through artists. With that being said, those under 30 years old and with fewer than three commercial singles were invited to submit their hopeful entries.
Out of 127, a professional jury selected 24 and it's now up to the fans to decide which final four should move forward and have a place amongst next year's EMA line up. The pre-selection will be held online through RTVSLO's website.
