2nd rehearsalsTop 10Bonjour, France calling! The bookmakers favorite will keep a similar performance to the French national selection, C’est vous qui décidez. Barbara is alone on stage, wearing a black bustier with trousers. Various spotlights are lit during the performance with a moment when Barbara's shadow is transformed into birds and eventually spread out. Towards the end of the performance, Barbara's main movements are with her hands as she swings them in different motions to convey her emotions whilst the camera giving an shaking effect. The performance is intimate and vocally impeccable.
Last 6No changes from the first round of rehearsals. Jendrik, his handy friend and his three female back vocalists are back for one more round of rehearsals that didn't exactly convince us. Amongst so many bold productions, "I Don't Feel Hate" comes off as a little bit more simple and stripped down, at least until the song's break. That may get people's attention for a while but shouldn't be enough for them to grab their phone and vote for Germany. As for the staging, it is colourful and energetic but it comes off as not enough. Therefore... I am sorry Germany, we predict you to finish within the last 6.
Top 10The crazy energy from Måneskin didn't go anywhere during this second rehearsal but their dark outfits did go. This time around, the group is wearing bordeaux leather outfits within the same style they presented themselves on their first rehearsal. As for the stage concept and how the performance goes, it still is extremely similar to what happened in the first rehearsal. There are a few camera angles that changed - including the very last shot of Damiano on the floor - but aside from that, everything seems to be similar. We predict Italy to score another top 10.
Top 20The cultural aspect of this song and performance are such highlights that certainly will make it standout from the rest. The staging is colourful and the blue outfit Jeangu is wearing is also quite eye-catching, even if there's a slight difference from the first rehearsal. He has removed the chest leather accessory he had. To add onto that, there's a dancer onstage that truly makes the performance even more unique. Some camera work was adjusted to focus on certain details of the performance. It's hard to predict how this will do as it is such a different song and not made for everyone but we believe its uniqueness and Jeangu's vocals will be enough to score the top 20.
Last 6Blas Cantó, dressed in black, starts singing acapella and soon after, the revamp version of the song kicks in with bright blue lights. A moon in eclipse and stars appear on the backdrop until they disappear and a huge pop moon appears from the ceiling. As the performance nears the end, the blue lights turn to warm gold. Blas is vocally good however needs improving for the Grand Finale. Overall the performance give you an atmosphere feeling while Blas emotionally sings.
Top 20The performance starts off with James Newman on a round platform with lasers around him. On each side of the stage, we can see two huge white trumpets. On stage he is accompanied by dancers playing trumpets all dressed in white. Red and blue are the colors dominating the performance. Each time James shouts "Light up the room", the stage is light up in bright white. When the bridge of the song starts, the stage gets dark and James is surrounded by white lasers. He is vocally good and a very good effort for the United Kingdom.
