Greece: Artists and songs for Ethnikós Telikós 2025 revealed

The 12 acts competing in order to represent Greece in Eurovision 2025 have been revealed. Listen to the songs and vote in our poll: Who should win Ethnikós Telikós 2025?

For the first time in several years, Greece will hold a national selection to select their representative for Basel. The selection is called Ethnikós Telikós 2025 ("National Final 2025") and will take place on 30 January in Athens.

After months of speculation, debate and anticipation, the broadcaster has unveiled the competing board that features 12 artists (plus three that will serve as backups in case of withdrawal or disqualification). A total of 187 songs were submitted to Greek broadcaster ERT.

The hopefuls were announced on the morning show Proían Se Eídon and are as follow:

Ethnikós Telikós 2025

Ethnikós Telikós 2025 takes place on Thursday 30 January 2025 in Christmas Theatre, Galatsi, Athens.

The show's result – and the Greek Eurovision representative – will be decided by 50% public voting, 25% Greek jury and 25% international jury.

Greece in Eurovision

Greece started its Eurovision adventure back in 1974, and has participated in the contest 44 times.

They won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 with the song "My Number One," performed by Helena Paparizou. Since that victory, they have been very successful in Eurovision.

Greece 2004: Sakis Rouvas - "Shake It"

Greece has qualified for the Grand Final 17 out of 20 times, only missing the Grand Final in 2016, 2018 and 2023. Since 2004, they have finished in the top ten 11 out of 19 times. They have never finished last in the contest.
