Israel 2022: The four finalists selected
After several auditions and live shows, the four X Factor finalists have been chosen. One of these will represent Israel at Eurovision Song Contest 2022
Israel will find both artist and song for Eurovision 2022 through X Factor. The show began in October 2021, and after a series of auditions and live shows, the final four artists that will compete on 5 February for the ticket to Eurovision Song Contest 2022 have been selected.

The final phase of Israel's selection for Eurovision:
- 23/27 January: The 4 finalists are chosen
- 30 January: The 8 songs are revealed (2 for each finalist)
- 3 February: Our Song for Eurovision: Which one of the two songs each artist will perform in the final
- 5 February: Final
On Sunday 30 January the songs for the finalists will be revealed. Each of the finalists will have two songs, and the public can vote on their favorite artist/song on the website of KAN 11 and app.
3 February HaShir Shelanu La’Erovizion (Our Song for Eurovision) will be held. Here each of the finalists will perform their two songs, and it's not up to the audience (50%), the jury of the show (25%) and an expert committee (25%) to select which of the two songs each of the finalists will perform in the Final.
5 February is the Final of X Factor La'Erovizion. In the first round, the four finalists will perform a song of their choice. One of the four will be eliminated in the first round. In the second round the remaining three finalists will perform their Eurovision song, selected in HaShir Shelanu La’Erovizion. The result will again be decided by the audience (50%), the jury of the show (25%) and an expert committee (25%).
Israel in Eurovision Song Contest
Israel has participated 43 times in Eurovision since debut in 1973. They have won the contest four times:
- 1978: Izhar Cohen and the Alphabeta - Abanibi
- 1979: Milk and Honey - Hallelujah
- 1998: Dana International - Diva
- 2018: Netta Barzilai - Toy
Israel has never ended last in the contest! Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Israel qualified for the Grand Final 11 out of 17 times.
