
Lithuania: Two more artists qualify for Eurovizija.LT 2025 Final
Katarsis and Amoralu are one step closer to representing Lithuania in Eurovision 2025 as they've just qualified for the country's national selection Final. One more heat is yet to go
Nine more acts took the stage in LRT's studios in Vilnius hoping they'd qualify for Eurovizija.LT 2025 Final scheduled for 15 February.
Tonight's penultimate heat had been recorded on 20 January when the jury got to vote and aired today. The jury panel featured:
- Ramūnas Zilnys (Eurovision commentator);
- Vytautas Bikus (songwriter of Lithuanian entries in 2015 and 2018);
- Kamilė Gudmonaitė (theater director, singer);
- Darius Užkuraitis (former Eurovision commentator);
- Monika Liu (Lithuania 2022).
The show was hosted by Lithuania's TV hosts Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė, and Rimvydas Černiauskas.
Out of the nine competing artists, only two made it through after the jury and the public vote were announced. Katarsis and Amoralu were the chosen ones.

Eurovizija.LT 2025 is Lithuania's national selection process to select their Eurovision 2025 representative. A total of 45 acts are competing, divided into five heats to determine the 10 artists going to the Final. The winner of the Eurovizija.LT 2025 Final will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel.
The five heats take place at LRT Studios in Vilnius, while the Final will be held at Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. All six shows will be hosted by Gabrielė Martirosian, Nombeko Augustė, and Rimvydas Černiauskas.

Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest
Lithuania has taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest 24 times since its debut in 1994.
In their debut year, 1994, Lithuania finished last. Their best result is from 2006, when LT United performed the iconic song "We Are The Winners (of Eurovision)." Although they didn't win, they finished 6th.
Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Lithuania has been in Eurovision every year, and qualified for the Grand Final 13 out of 20 times.
With Estonia's victory in 2001 (Everybody) and Latvia's victory in 2002 (I Wanna), Lithuania is the only Baltic country that hasn't won the Eurovision Song Contest.
