San Marino: Gabry Ponte to Eurovision 2025 with "Tutta l'Italia"
San Marino held their national selection contest tonight to determine their Eurovision 2025 representative. After all the votes were counted, it was known that Gabry Ponte will wave the flag with "Tutta l'Italia"
What started out as over 1,200 applicants looking for the opportunity to take the San Marino Song Contest stage tonight was reduced to 20 acts hopeful of taking home the crown.
After numerous rounds of auditions and semi-finals, 11 acts qualified for tonight's Final alongside the nine who were announced in the "Big Artists" reveal just a few weeks prior.
After all 20 acts took to the stage a vote was held, and the fate of who was deemed the winner was chosen via 100% jury vote. Once the jury votes were tallied up, we knew that Gabry Ponte took the victory with "Tutta l'Italia."
"Tutta l'Italia" was written by Andrea Bonomo, Edwyn Roberts Clark, and Gabriele Ponte.

Tonight's show was held at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana and was hosted by Flora Canto and Francesco Facchinetti.
Gabry Ponte will take the Eurovision stage for San Marino on 13 May in the second half of Semi-final 1 and is looking to bring the country back to the Grand Final for the first time since 2021.
Gabry Ponte
Gabry Ponte (52) is an Italian musician, DJ and producer with an impressive career starting in 1993.
Ponte was part of legendary band Eiffel 65, known for the hit song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)" from 1998, which sold over 8 million copies. Following the success of the song their album "Europop" went on to sell 4 million copies, and helped them land them the EMA for "Best Italian Artist In The World" in 2000.
In 2005, Ponte announced his separation from the group to focus on solo work, which led him to even more success. His solo career has brought him numerous charting songs and albums in Italy. He's also collaborated with many big names in music such as Pitbull, Aloee Black, Sean Paul, and Sigala just to name a few.
Gabry is no stranger to Eurovision, though. He was a co-writer and producer for Austria's 2022 entry "Halo" by LUM!X and Pia Maria, which failed to advance to the Grand Final.
While "Tutta l'Italia" hasn't officially taken part in any other national selection contest, it was the theme song for Festival di Sanremo 2025, which helped it gain its popularity prior to the San Marino Song Contest.
San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest
San Marino is one of the newest, and smallest, Eurovision countries.
They have participated 14 times since their first Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, but not with great success. In 11 out of 14 appearances, they haven't managed to qualify for the Grand Final. San Marino has qualified for the Grand Final three times: in 2014, 2019 and 2021. Their worst results were in 2008, 2017 and 2023 when they came in last in their Semi-final.
