EUROVISION HOME CONCERTS

Watch the first episode of Eurovision Home Concerts

Rasmussen from Denmark, Tamara from North Macedonia, Ryan O'Shaugnessy from Ireland and Slavko Kalezić from Montenegro are the first former acts to perform at Eurovision's new initiative, Eurovision Home Concerts

More and more artists around the globe have been adapting to the new reality caused by the coronavirus outbreak. The world has stopped and people are confined to their homes.

Europe was taken by storm and inevitably the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam was cancelled.

Despite the cancellation, EBU has recently announced the production of Eurovision: Europe Shine a Light that promises to honour the 41 songs that were up for this year's competition. Eurovision is also now hosting an undetermined series of home concerts featuring former Eurovision artists.

The first episode can now be watched on Eurovision's official YouTube channel and features four familiar faces: Rasmussen (Denmark 2018), Tamara Todevska (North Macedonia 2019), Ryan O'Shaugnessy (Ireland 2018) and Slavko Kalezić (Montenegro 2017).

Jamala (Ukraine 2016) has already been confirmed as a future act in one of the following episodes.

Eurovision Home Concerts: What is it?

With all the travel restrictions imposed by multiple governments around the globe, Eurovision is hosting online concerts featuring artists that have already stepped on the Eurovision Song Contest stage.

The mini-shows will be recorded by each act individually and then featured in Eurovision's official YouTube channel. In each episode, the artists will perform their Eurovision entry and another Eurovision hit, chosen by the fans through the official Twitter account of Eurovision.
