Nicole & Hugo won Eurosong 1971 with the song "Goeie morgen, morgen". Shortly before Eurovision 1971, Nicole had fallen ill and was unable to travel. Belgium broadcaster BRT asked Lily Castel and Jacques Raymond to represent them at Eurovision 1971 instead of Nicole & Hugo with the same song.
