Anxhela Peristeri, or simply Anxhela, is a 34-years old Albanian singer-songwriter and model.

Her victory in Festivali i Këngës with the song "Karma" was not her first attempt in the competition. The singer had competed back in 2001. Nonetheless, back then Albania wasn't yet part of Eurovision.

Her first, and only, studio album – "Anxhela për ju" – was released in 2004.

Anxhela won the first season of Albania's "Your Face Sounds Familiar" back in 2016 and, the year after, the 19th edition of the festival Kënga Magjike.

Albania in Eurovision Song Contest
