Armenia: Brunette's song for Eurovision 2023 "Future Lover" released

Brunette will be waving the flag for Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with her song "Future Lover." The song has now officially been released. Listen to it here

After Armenia was able to snap their way back to the final last May with Rosa Linn, the hunt was on to find her successor.

Brunette was selected internally by Armenian broadcaster AMPTV back in February to represent the country at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool. Since then, many fans have been awaiting the big reveal of her song, "Future Lover."

The song Brunette is taking to the Eurovision stage, "Future Lover," has officially been released and is available to listen to now!

Elen Yeremyan (stage name Brunette) was born on 27 May 2001 in Yerevan, Armenia. She has already built quite a name for herself in her home country with some hit songs, and has previously worked with Armenian music education and non-profit Nvak. She plans to introduce a fresh look to Liverpool's enormous Eurovision stage:

– I am happy to share the news with you. I just create music, and this time I will share it with the European audience.

At the young age of four, Brunette started singing while later starting to write her own songs at the age of fifteen. The gifted singer-songwriter has been performing her own songs, and even became part of the Yerevan-based musical collective, Project 12.

Millions of people have viewed her songs Smoke Break and Bac kapuyt achqerd (to name a just a couple) on YouTube.

Armenia has been in Eurovision since 2006, participating 14 times (all the years except 2012 and 2021), with very good results: 7 out of the 14 times Armenia finished in top-10!

Their best results are two 4th place positions (2008 and 2014), and they have qualified for the Grand Final 11 out of 14 times.
