Albania will be represented by Albina & Familja Kelmendi at Eurovision 2023 after winning Festivali i Këngës 61. Albina & Familja Kelmendi will sing "Duje" in Liverpool
The people of Albania have decided: Albina & Familja Kelmendi will sing "Duje" in Liverpool for Eurovision 2023.
The 61st edition of Festivali i Këngës is now over after four nights of music and celebration. Several changes were introduced in this year's edition, including its selection method. Known for always giving the jury the right to decide, RTSH decided to shift that decision towards the public. And after all the votes were counted, Albina & Familja Kelmendi were the winners.
"Duje" was written by Eriona Rushiti. It's still unclear if the song will undergo a revamp ahead of Eurovision 2023 which may affect its melody and/or lyrics.
