Italy: Night 3 Results of Sanremo 2025
The last 14 artists took the Festival di Sanremo 2025 stage tonight to perform their songs for a second time
La terza notte è finita!
The second half of the Sanremo 2025 participants sang their songs again tonight. Like Night 2, the top five, determined by a 50% split between a radio jury and televoting, was released at the end of the night in a random order.
Tonight's top five are:
- Brunori Sas – "L'albero delle noci"
- Irama – "Lentamente"
- Coma_Cose – "Cuoricini"
- Francesco Gabbani – "Viva la vita"
- Olly – "Balorda nostalgia"
Night 3 brought us yet another unforgettable show. And tonight's special co-hosts Miriam Leone, Elettra Lamborghini, and Katia Follesa, helped make it extra special.
Sanremo 2025 – 3rd night
We also saw the finalists for Nuove Proposte take the stage tonight to see which one would get enough votes to win that section. Alex Wyse with "Rockstar" and Settembre with "VERTEBRE" competed in hopes of impressing the public enough to get their votes.
Once the results came in, the Nuove Proposte section winner would be Settembre.
In typical Sanremo fashion, we had some notable interval acts which made the show even more enjoyable. Duran Duran, a highly anticipated interval once announced, performed their hit songs "Invisible," "Ordinary World," "Notorious," "Girls on Film," "Psycho Killer," and "Wild Boys." Bassist Victoria de Angelis from Italian rock group Måneskin joined the band on stage for a couple of songs as well.
Tomorrow is Night 4, which means it's Cover Night! Each act can perform as a solo, as a duet with a special guest or another competing act with a song of their choosing. While the results of tomorrow night are separate from the final outcome, the winning cover song will be revealed at the end of the night (and is determined by 33% press jury, 33% radio jury, and 34% televoting).
The co-hosts tomorrow will be Mahmood and Geppi Cucciari.

Italy in the Eurovision Song Contest
Italy has participated in 49 Eurovision contests. They have won three times:
- 1964: Gigliola Cinquetti – Non Ho L'étà
- 1990: Toto Cutugno – Insieme: 1992
- 2021: Måneskin – Zitti e buoni
Their worst result came in 1966, when they finished last.
Italy's most well-known song is "Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu," better known as "Volare" from 1958. It is also the most covered Eurovision Song Contest song ever. The song has been covered by famous stars such as Dean Martin, Cliff Richard, David Bowie and many more.
Italy took a long pause from the Eurovision Song Contest between 1998 and 2010. Since then, Italy has been a "Big-5" country, which means they don't have to go through the Semi-final round and are automatically qualified for the Grand Final.
