After many weeks of shows, Lithuania has now crowned their successor to Moniku Liu. Monika Linkytė has just won Pabandom iš naujo 2023, Lithuania's national selection process for Eurovision, and will represent the country at Eurovision in Liverpool this May.

The song was written by Monika Linkytė and Krists Indrišonoks.
The final took place at LRT Studios in Vilnius, and was hosted by Giedrius Masalskis, Augustė Nombeko, and Richardas Jonaitis.

Lithuania will select its representative through a national selection, Pabandom iš naujo 2023. There are five shows which will be used to select their representative for Liverpool.

- Semi-final 1: 4 February 2023
- Semi-final 2: 11 February 2023
- Final: 18 February 2023
All five of the scheduled shows were hosted by Giedrius Masalskis, Augustė Nombeko, and Richardas Jonaitis, and broadcast live from LRT studios in Vilnius.
Monika Linkytė
Monika Linkytė was born in Gargždai, Lithuania. Linkytė is a singer-songwriter and has been active in the industry since 2005, building quite a name for herself in Lithuania.
She's attempted to go to Eurovision six times in the past: in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 where she went on to represent Lithuania with Vaidas and their song "This Time," placing 18th in the Grand Final with 30 points.
As of right now, she has two certified singles in Lithuania - "Po dangum" which is certified Platinum and is on her first album, Walk with Me, and "Padovanojau" which is certified Gold. In 2015, she also won three awards: Best Album with Walk with Me, Best Song with "Po dangum," and Best Female Act.
Lithuania in the Eurovision Song Contest
Lithuania has taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest 22 times since its debut in 1994.
In their debut year, 1994, Lithuania finished last. Their best result is from 2006, when LT United performed the iconic song "We Are The Winners (of Eurovision)." Although they didn't win, they finished 6th.
Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, Lithuania has been in Eurovision every year, and qualified for the Grand Final 11 out of 18 times.
With Estonia's victory in 2001 (Everybody) and Latvia's victory in 2002 (I Wanna), Lithuania is the only Baltic country that hasn't won the Eurovision Song Contest.
