Spain: Lineup for Benidorm Fest 2023 Final complete
The last four qualifiers in Benidorm Fest 2023 are now known. The final lineup is complete, and they'll all perform one last time next Saturday, 4 February for a chance to represent Spain at Eurovision 2023
Another late night for Eurovision fans as Spain continued the search for their next Eurovision star through Benidorm Fest 2023. This edition follows the massive success of Chanel's "SloMo" at Eurovision 2022, which culminated in Spain picking up their first top 3 finish in many, many years…1995 to be precise.
The Palau Municipal d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm saw the nine remaining acts give it their all in order to secure one of the first four spots on the points board. No expense was spared on production, which like the first semi-final was worthy of an actual Eurovision show.
Regardless, only four made the cut once all the points were counted. The decision consisted of results from the professional jury (50%), the demoscopic jury (25%), and the televote (25%).
In this second semi-final, no Eurovision stars performed. Instead, Mexican star Gloria Trevi, Spain's very own Miguel Poveda, and Álvaro Soler were in charge of entertaining the audience as the interval acts.

There will be three shows, all in order to pick the best candidate for Liverpool. Inés Hernand, Mónica Naranjo and Rodrigo Vázquez will be in charge of guiding each night's broadcasts as the show's hosts.

Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest
Spain has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 61 times since their debut in 1961. They have won twice: in 1968 (La, La, La...) and the folowing year, 1969 (Vivo Cantando).
Spain is a member of the "Big-5," which means they don't have to go through the Semi-final round and are automatically qualified for the Grand Final. Spain is also a member of "club zero" because they have managed to get zero points 3 times. They have finished in last place 5 times in Eurovision history, the latest coming in 2017.
Spain's best-known song is probably "Eres Tú" from Eurovision 1973 (2nd place, only four points away from victory).
