In And Out Of The Dark

So what do you do when you come out from the dark?
Do you take the light in your hands and you shine?
Or you go back to what you already know?
And you go right back into the dark

Lately I've been thinking about
The way we used to play around
There was no time for right or wrong
We just went out to see the world
We didn't care, we laughed a lot
And that was my high
But then I fell into the rabbit's hole
That place was so colorful
But I got in too deep
I didn't know what day it was
And which way to go
I didn't know if I would still alive
Or I was just too high
But I knew, I knew that you'd get out

So what do you do when you come out from the dark?

The darkness climbin' out from down below
And started walkin' down the road
I also didn't know
And I was scared that I won't make it out in time
Mmh, but then I saw that bridge
Where I could cross over and shine
I would be so glad and almost happy
Just like all that light, it will make me shine
Would be like I was never down in my past
I would be that little one who's always bein' nice
I saw and I heard that beauty I left behind
It called me back to where I cracked
It sounded so nice, but I couldn't decide
If I go back or I won't
