Iceland: Svala releases the latest single ''For the Night''
Svala Björgvinsdóttir goes for a dance track this summer.
The Icelandic artist who is also a clothing designer represented Iceland in Eurovision 2017 with her song Paper (15th, 60 points) has released her song dance track ''For the Night''. The song is about a love affair between a couple who have broken up but they meet one night but is it for For the Night?
Svala is signed with SONY Denmark and after Eurovision she continued working on other projects.

Iceland in Eurovision Song Contest
Iceland's debut in Eurovision Song Contest was back in 1986, and has been participating 31 times since. Best result are two second-places with Yohanna in 2009 and Selma in 1999.
Since the introduction of Semi-finals in 2004 Iceland qualified to the Grand Final 8 out of 15 times – the last four years the Grand Finals were without Iceland.
Iceland is the only Northern European country that has yet to win the Eurovision Song Contest.
