Open Up – Here is the logo for Eurovision 2020

EBU has just revealed the logo and theme artwork for Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam

The slogan for Eurovision Song Contest 2020 Open Up was revealed back in October 2019, and now the logo and theme artwork have been revealed by the Dutch public broadcaster and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

The logo symbolizes the celebration of the 65 years of Eurovision Song Contest and the 41 countries that will take part.

The logo represents the flag colours of the 41 countries participating in Eurovision 2020 in order of their first participation.

Sietse Bakker, Executive Producer Event of Eurovision 2020, says:

– This design follows the characteristics of Dutch Design: minimalistic, experimental and innovative. It tells a story, it’s colourful, festive and, not unimportantly, widely applicable.

Jon Ola Sand, Executive Supervisor of Eurovision Song Contest, says:

– We are extremely pleased with the artwork for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 that perfectly celebrates our 65 year heritage. The impactful design also encapsulates the event’s modern values of diversity and inclusivity and beautifully complements this year’s slogan "Open Up".
