Go_A

Go_A (Gou-Ai) is a band from Kyiv, that combines modern dance beats with ethnic vocals.

During the short period of its existence, the band managed to visit many festivals and fall in love with listeners in different parts of Ukraine.

The name of the band is made up by the English word "Go", and the ancient Greek letter "Alpha" (Α), which represents the root and origin of everything in the world, as well as home. So "Go_A" can be understood as "going back to the beginning".

The idea of the band came in 2011, and since then, several changes have taken place in the band. Now the band consists of:

  • Kateryna Pavlenko (Катерина Павленко) – vocals, percussion lyrics
  • Taras Shevchenko (Тарас Шевченко) – keyboards, guitar, samplers and percussion
  • Ihor Didenchuk (Ігор Діденчук) – percussion, backing vocals
  • Ivan Hryhoriak (Іван Григоряк) – Guitar

The band has performed on the stages of many festivals, including Kyiv Open Air, Country of Dreams, Trypillya Kolo, Gogolfest and many others.
