Netherlands: Claude's song for Eurovision 2025 released – Listen to "C'est La Vie"

Claude will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with "C'est La Vie." His song has just been released

Claude was selected internally by Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS back in December to represent the country at this year's Eurovision.

Today Claude has released the song he will perform on the Eurovision stage in Basel this May: "C'est La Vie."

Claude Kiambe (21) is a Dutch singer-songwriter, originally from Congo. He moved to the Netherlands when he was young.

His breakthrough came in 2022 with the single "Ladada," which has more than 57 million streams, has achieved diamond status, and has reached #1 on both the Top 40 and Spotify's Top 50 charts.

"Ladada" is one of the most successful Dutch songs and was the fourth most-streamed track on Spotify in 2023. The track also got Claude Top 40 and Edison Award nominations. He earned the 3FM Award for Best Newcomer, 3FM Talent, and Qmusic's Best Artist of the Year.

Claude is truly proud to represent the Netherlands at Eurovision:

– I feel extremely honored that I will represent the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest next year and I still can't believe it. I'm really looking forward to it and can't wait to present my song to Europe.

Since 1975, the best result for the Netherlands was in 2019, when Duncan Laurence finished first with the song "Arcade." They have come in last in the contest 5 times: 1958, 1962, 1963, 1968 and 2011.

Since the introduction of the Semi-finals in 2004, they have qualified for the Grand Final 10 out of 20 times, but only competed in 9 finals, as they were disqualified from Eurovision 2024 on the day of the Grand Final.
