Melodi Grand Prix 2020
The Final of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2020 will be held on 7 March in Royal Arena, Copenhagen. Hosts are Hella Joof and Rasmus Bjerg, and for the first time since 1999, a live orchestra will be used in the Melodi Grand Prix.
Prior to the final of MGP 2020, an online regional Semi-final took place. Nine songs competed in the online regional Semi-final, where people in Denmark could vote online for their favourite song, allocated into three regional votings. The winner from each region qualifies to the final. A regional jury selected another two finalists (wildcards), among the remaining six songs that didn't qualify from the online voting. Another five songs were selected as pre-qualified finalists.
