Luxembourg: Laura Thorn to Eurovision 2025 with "La poupée monte le son"
Luxembourg Song Contest 2025 has just wrapped up, and after all the votes were counted it was clear: Laura Thorn is crowned the winner with "La poupée monte le son"
Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC) has drawn to a close, and we now know who Tali's successor will be.
After all the votes came in, it became official: Laura Thorn took home the LSC 2025 crown and will represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with "La poupée monte le son".
"La poupée monte le son" was written by Julien Salvia and Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal.

Laura Thorn
Laura Thorn is a teacher at the Esch/Alzette Conservatory of Music. She comes with much knowledge in music and extensive training in music theory, piano, cello, keyboard, chamber music, and dance. Thorn has dedicated much of her life to music.
She obtained a master's degree in music theory, music pedagogy, and pop singing from IMEP in Namur, Belgium.
Luxembourg Song Contest 2025
After the success of Luxembourg Song Contest (LSC) in 2024, Luxembourgish broadcaster RTL brought it back to select their 2025 representative.
The show consisted of seven acts performing their songs at the Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette. LSC 2025 was hosted by Raoul Roos and Loïc Juchem, along with surprise host Conchita Wurst, who won Eurovision in 2014 for Austria with Rise Like a Phoenix.
Voting to determine the winner was 50% international jury and 50% public voting.
Luxembourg in Eurovision
Luxembourg has participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 38 times and is one of the most successful countries in Eurovision with five victories:

- 1972: Vicky Leandros - "Après Toi"
- 1973: Anne-Marie David - "Tu Te Reconnaîtras"

Luxembourg had a 30-year long break from Eurovision in the years 1994 and 2023. They returned for the 2024 contest where they qualified from a Semi-final to the Grand Final for the first time.
